DigitalSuite Studio Composite API
The Composite API module is the DigitalSuite Studio module for designing, configuring, and testing composite APIs. A composite API is a sequence of steps that is executed synchronously on the platform within a short time without user interaction and interruption.
Composite APIs are used to speed up the execution of task sequences and to implement API-accessible business logic or data integrations. They are designed as series of steps in the same way as processes and use the same step types. In contrast to processes, the execution path of composite APIs is not persisted, which makes them faster, but more difficult to monitor.
The Composite API module, like all DigitalSuite Studio modules, has in-built, toggleable on-screen help that ensures that assistance is instantly available at the point of need.
